
Washington Loses Physical Game at No. 25 Colorado

BOULDER, Colo. – The Washington women's basketball team (13-11, 5-9) fell to No. 25 Colorado (20-5, 10-3) 43-65 Sunday afternoon in Boulder.
It was a physical game throughout, and the Huskies were faced with a tough road test.
Lauren Schwartz started the scoring for Washington, and ended up leading the team in scoring with nine points.
The Huskies tallied nine steals and six blocks. Haley Van Dyke led the team in rebounds with seven, while also recording three steals and two blocks. Trinity Oliver added two steals, and Elle Ladine had two blocks.
Up next for the Huskies, Washington is back home to take on the Oregon schools in Alaska Airlines Arena. First up will be Oregon State on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. PT.
