Huskies Secure Seven Singles Victories in SMU Invitational Day Two

DALLAS – Washington women's tennis returned to the court Saturday morning for day two of the SMU Invitational.

Astrid Olsen and Dariya Detkovskaya came away with their second doubles victory of the season, besting the Wisconsin pair Jacobson/Johnson 6-1.

The team dominated the singles courts, with Olsen, Sarah-Maude Fortin, Alexia Jacobs, Detkovskaya, Melissa Sakar and Yolanda Lin all securing wins over their opponents.

Catherine Gagnon secured her first win in a UW uniform today as well, winning in two sets, 6-3, 6-2.
