Huskies-Bulldogs End In Draw

SPOKANE, Wash. – Washington concluded its non-conference slate with a 1-1 draw at Gonzaga on Saturday night. The Huskies move to 5-4-4 on the season.
Nick O'Brien put the Huskies on the board first with his second goal of his career in the 13th minute. O'Brien has notched two goals in his last three appearances.
Gonzaga's lone shot on goal in the contest found the back of the net to level the score at one in the 30th minute.
The two teams were unable to find the net in the second half to end in a one-all draw. The Bulldogs out-shot the Huskies in the second half five to three.
Jadon Bowton got the start in goal for the second time this season. Nate Jones, Kalani Kossa-Rienzi, Richie Aman, Sean Sent and O'Brien all registered shots on the night.
Bryan Iliohan led all with three shots, two of which came on goal.
The Huskies begin the final homestand of the season hosting California on Thursday and Stanford on Sunday to begin the second half of conference action. Both matches will air on Pac-12 Networks.
