Starting Five Reasons to Attend UW vs. WSU

SEATTLE – The Washington women's basketball team opens Pac-12 play when the Huskies host Washington State this Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. in Alaska Airlines Arena for the first of two matchups in the Boeing Apple Cup Series this season.
We've put together your STARTING FIVE reasons to attend the game!
1) Home Court Advantage
Your Huskies are 6-0 at home this season! The strength of the Dawg is the Pack, and we love having Husky Nation SHOW UP at Alaska Airlines Arena to make it the best place to play!

2) Conference Opener
Sunday's game is the Pac-12 opener, and it's happening in our house! After playing non-conference opponents up until this point, the Huskies are ready for the conference matchups and rivalries to begin.
3) Boeing Apple Cup Series
We love a rivalry! The first installment of the Boeing Apple Cup Series this season takes place in our house, and we need all the Huskies there to cheer on the Dawgs.
This is the 95th meeting between the Huskies and Cougars, and Washington leads the matchup record 73-21. The next time this season UW and WSU square up will be in Pullman on Sunday, Jan. 8.
Boeing will be giving away mittens at the game to the first 500 fans to pick them up at the Southwest concourse!
4) Dawg Pack Game
Shoutout to the SIXTH player – the Dawg Pack!
UW students can enter their names in the Dawg Pack Raffle for a chance to win Beats headphones, a Smart TV, bluetooth speaker, adidas Ultraboost shoes, and more!
The first 250 students to show up at the game will receive a free Dawg Pack t-shirt.
