
Purple Out to Greet No. 23 Auburn at Hec Ed Wednesday

SEATTLE โ A ranked opponent comes toย Hec Ed on Wednesday as Washington (9-3, 1-1) hosts No. 23 Auburnย at Alaska Airlines Arena. The game tips at 6:00 p.m. with Guy Haberman and P.J. Carlesimo on the call on Pac-12 Networks. Tony Castriconeย and Jason Hamilton will call the action on the Husky Sports Network, and locally on Sports Radio KJR-AM 950.

The Matchup
This is just the second time Washington and Auburn will square off. The previous meeting was in Auburn in 2018 with the Tigers defeating the Huskies 88-66. Jaylen Nowell led the Huskies with 16 points in the game. Wednesday's game will be the first meeting between the teams at Alaska Airlines Arena and will feature the top-two shot-blocking teams in the country. UW enters the contest having won three of the last four games while Auburn's two losses have come in the past three games.ย

The game is a Purple Out and rally towels will be handed out to the first 2,500 fans in attendance. The Dawg Pack will also receive free custom T-shirts as part of a season-long giveaway series. Wear purple!
