GymDawgs Ready For Postseason
April 01, 2019 | Gymnastics
SEATTLE - Washington is headed to the postseason, ready to compete in the Corvallis Regional this weekend. The GymDawgs will compete in the first session, set for April 5 at 2:00 pm, and look to advance to the Regional Final if they can finish in the session's top two. Finishing in the Final's top two will send the GymDawgs to Nationals for a program-record third straight season.
Washington finished sixth at the Pac-12 Championships last to earn its way to the Regional. The GymDawgs will compete against Denver, Boise State, and Southern Utah in their session, having already competed against Boise State and Southern Utah in the regular season. Washington defeated Southern Utah at home and finished just behind Boise State on the road.
To watch the meet, there will be a free stream available on the GoHuskies.com schedule page that will not follow any particular team. Due to all four teams competing simultaneously, this means much of the GymDawgs' action will be missed. A paid stream allowing fans to follow specific events and teams is available via FloGymnastics.
