After suffering an injury going into her senior year, Schrady remained a steady presence for the team. While she wasn't necessarily competing, she stepped up in other ways, embracing expanded leadership roles and continuing to shape the program's culture and support system. Her impact extended beyond competition, helping guide teammates and strengthen the group.
Schrady has primarily competed on vault throughout her career, where she's been a reliable option in the lineup, highlighted by a career-high score of 9.750. Her return gives the Huskies added depth and experience, along with a familiar presence they can count on.
"We're thrilled to welcome Emma back for another season," said head coach Jessa Hansen Parker. "She has so much more to give, and her drive, consistency, and leadership will continue to elevate our program in every way. We're excited for what's ahead."
As Washington looks toward the 2026–27 season, Schrady's return brings both experience and momentum to a team continuing to build for the future.
