Huskies Close Out ASU Invitational With Four Wins

TEMPE, Ariz. --- Washington wrapped up a solid showing at the Arizona State Invitational on Sunday with four wins, splitting a pair of doubles matches and winning three of four on the singles side in Tempe.
The Huskies picked up a doubles win as Katarina Kopcalic and Sedona Gallagher downed the Michigan State doubles team of Antonaki/Roberts 7-5.
On the singles side, Natsuho Arakawa picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Antonaki while Gallagher beat Nikolaev from Michigan State 1-6, 6-3, 1-0(8). Vanessa Wong also picked up a singles win, beating Texas Tech's Miller 5-7, 6-5, 1-0 (5).
The matches wrapped up the fall schedule for Washington. The Huskies return to the courts on January 12, hosting a doubleheader with Seattle and Eastern Washington.
