Washington Returns Home Ranked
October 29, 2019 | Women's Soccer
SEATTLE - The #21 Washington Huskies return to Montlake with a top-ten win under their belt, ready for two more games this weekend. Washington will be home for the rest of the regular season, hosting Colorado and Utah this week before hosting Washington State in the Boeing Apple Cup Series next week.
The Huskies re-enter the rankings this week, coming in at #21 after beating #7 USC 2-0 last weekend. Washington is 10th in the country in RPI. That win over USC also leaves the Huskies all alone in second place in the Pac-12 with a 6-2-0 conference record and three games to play.
Washington has only lost once all year at home, falling to #2 North Carolina 3-2 during the Husky Invitational. After every loss this year, the Huskies have strung together at least two wins and enter this weekend with four wins in their last five games.
