October 23, 2019 | Women's Soccer

This is the final road trip of the regular season for the Huskies, who are 5-2-0 away from Seattle. The Huskies will be looking for their first sweep of the LA schools since 2015. Washington is guaranteed its first winning road record since 2014 regardless of this weekends results.
Washingtons team offensive approach has worked lately, with five different players scoring goals in the last three games. 11 different Huskies have scored this season.

HUSSEN IN THE MEMBREN | |
Ameera Hussen has scored goals in back-to-back games, giving Washington the lead in each game that they would go on to win. Hussen's golden goal against #25 Arizona was Washington's first Pac-12 golden goal since 2012. She joins Kennedy Smith and Summer Yates (twice) as the only Huskies to score goals in back-to-back games this season, something Hussen had never done before. In 2018, only one Husky, Olivia van der Jagt, scored in back-to-back games. |

DAWG DAYS OF SUMMER | |
Summer Yates is the first Husky to record 15 points in a single season since 2015, when Shannon Simon had 19 (7 G, 5 A). One more assist would give Yates six on the year, the most by a Husky since 2003, when both Kim Taylor and Melissa Bennett had eight assists each. Only three sophomores have ever had more assists than Yates: Caroline Putz (1999), Theresa Wagner (1998), and Tara Bilanski (1993). |

WINS ARE FUN | |
Washington's next win will give it ten on the year. This would be Washington's first double-digit win season since 2015, when it went 12-7-5. Washington has won at least ten games 14 times in Lesle Gallimore's 25 years as head coach. The Huskies are also guaranteed their 18th winning season in Gallimore's tenure thanks to the win over Oregon State. |
