SEATTLE – Washington's winning ways continued Sunday, with the Huskies picking up a 1-0 shutout win over Oregon on the strength of Mireya Grey's first career goal. Makena Carr assisted on their goal, getting her first career point. Washington outshot the Ducks 13-8 in the game, with Siena Ruelas making three saves for her fifth shutout.

Washington is now 7-3-1 on the year after today's win. This was the second time this season that the Huskies have put together back-to-back shutout wins.

Lesle Gallimore was happy with the team's effort, saying that "this is a great win for our team… I really feel as if we keep improving as time goes on. We keep getting contributions from different people."

		SCORING
43:06 \| Carr took control of the ball and put on the afterburners, beating her defender with speed to find room for a cross. Grey crashed toward the goalmouth and was there for the low cross and the goal.

		NOTES
The Huskies have recorded three shutouts in their last four games. Grey became the fifth Husky to score their first career goal this year. Ruelas has a 183:34-minute shutout streak after today's clean sheet. Washington has scored in all but one game this year and scored first in nine of 11 games.
