October 01, 2018 | Women's Soccer
SEATTLE - With two straight Pac-12 wins under their belt, the Washington Huskies head to the mountains this weekend, set to face off with Utah and #20 Colorado. Washington, which is currently fourth in the Pac-12 standings, will look to extend a shutout streak that now sits at almost 200 minutes after wins over Oregon State and Oregon this last weekend.

Washington is 7-3-1 on the year now, having allowed only three goals in their last four games. The Huskies went 1-0-1 against the two eastern Pac-12 schools last year, beating Utah 2-0 and playing Colorado to a scoreless draw. Washington will look to close the gap in the standings with a pair of wins, as the Huskies currently sit just three points out of first place.

GREY DAYS ARE HERE TO STAY | |
| Mireya Grey scored her first career goal Sunday, scoring the gamewinner against Oregon. Grey became the fifth Husky to score their first career goal this year, joining Olivia Van der Jagt, Summer Yates, Ruby Hellstrom, and Ameera Hussen. Both Grey's and Van der Jagt's first goals were also gamewinners. | ||

SHUTOUTS ARE GOOD | |
| With back-to-back shutouts, Washington and Siena Ruelas now have a 183:34-minute shutout streak. It is the second time this year Washington has recorded back-to-back shutouts and gives the Huskies five shutouts on the year. Washington has only allowed multiple goals once in the last seven games and has three shutouts in the last four games, with Ruelas in goal for all of those. | ||

POSSESSION POWER | |
| With last weekend's two wins, Washington has now outshot the opposition in nine of 11 games this year. The Huskies have double-digit shots in every game this year except against #3 USC. That total includes four games of 20+ shots and one of 35, coming against Michigan State. Washington had 29 shots against Oregon State, just missing their second 30+ shot game of the year. | ||
