PORTLAND, Ore. – After peppering shots in the first half, a second-half breakthrough earned the Washington Huskies a 1-0 win on the road over the Portland Pilots Sunday, wrapping up a perfect 2-0-0 weekend for the Huskies. Olivia Van der Jagt scored for the second game in a row, potting the game's only goal in the 70^th minute. It was a team effort for the shutout, with Siena Ruelas stopping two shots and Washington outshooting the opposition 14-4 in the game.

"I thought [Van der Jagt] was going to get another goal there," said head coach Lesle Gallimore about the impressive sophomore, who sent a shot just over the bar in the game's last ten minutes in addition to her goal. "The quality she has in her movement and her ability to move the ball around is really important to us… her defending, as well as Summer Yates' and Jessika Cowart's, was really improved today, and just seeing her on the ball setting the tempo today was really important."

		SCORING
70:00 \| Dumesnil managed a couple of dribbles under pressure in the box following a throw-in, making room to thread a pass to Van der Jagt. The sophomore fired immediately after her first touch, beating the goalkeeper for her second goal in as many games.

		NOTES
In her last 140 minutes of play, Van der Jagt has scored twice and recorded seven shots. Ruelas is now on a 193:29-minute shutout streak. In her first three collegiate games, Ruby Hellstrom has twice recorded multiple shots. Washington's 14 shots are its most since recording 19 against Oregon State last season.
