Dawgs Travel to No. 35 Utah for Friday Match

SEATTLE – After splitting two intense matches last week, Washington men's tennis is hitting the road to take on No. 35 Utah on Friday in Salt Lake City.
The Huskies (11-10, 1-4 Pac-12) won their first Pac-12 match against Arizona last Friday in a thrilling 4-3 win. Against Arizona State on Sunday, the Dawgs fell in another closely-contested match. The latest ITA rankings have seniors Mitch Stewart and Jake Douglas within one ranking of each other, No. 73 and 74, respectively.
The Utes are 19-4 in 2018, 2-2 in Pac-12 play. They are coming off two-straight conference losses, sweeps at both Stanford and California. They have one singles player ranked, No. 115 Dan Little, and one doubles duo ranked, No. 87 Randy Cory and Russell Benkiam.
