BOULDER, Colo. – A deluge of second-half shots helped the Huskies to overtime today, but it was still a 2-1 loss for Washington against the Colorado Buffaloes. Colorado scored early in the second overtime period off a corner, taking the win. Kaylene Pang, who played the entire game at central defense, scored the Huskies' only goal, her first career goal.

Washington had only six shots at halftime but put up 11 more in the second half, including seven on goal. Pang was one of 11 Huskies with a shot in the game, led by Ameera Hussen's three shots in 78 minutes off the bench. Summer Yates and Isabella Castro each had two shots of their own off the bench.

Siena Ruelas made seven saves for the Huskies, facing 20 shots in all and nine on goal. Ruelas made a number of impressive stops sprinting forward out of goal in the second half, regaining possession for the Huskies and allowing the pressure that eventually resulted in the tying goal.

		SCORING
28:06 \| A contested ball into the box found an on-rushing Colorado attacker for the game's first goal. 83:56 \| After a yellow card foul against Colorado, Pang sent in a long ball looking for a cross. With Huskies pressuring, the ball slipped off the keeper's fingertips and into the net to tie the game up 1-1. 103:20 \| Colorado scored off a corner to win the game, tipping the ball in the center of the box to an attacker.

		NOTES
Pang's goal was the first of her career. Ruelas matched her career high in saves with seven, set earlier this year at Florida. Hussen has had at least three shots in four consecutive games. This was the third time this year for both Pang and Lisa Jensen playing over 100 minutes.
