SEATTLE – Facing their second straight ranked opponent, the Washington Huskies fell 2-0 to the #10 UCLA Bruins Friday night. Siena Ruelas made six saves in the game, while Ameera Hussen, Sianna Siemonsma, and Asia Brisco all had multiple shots.

The Huskies nearly tied the game with a ten-minute stretch of dangerous pressure in the second half. After Pascale Dumesnil's shot was touched just over the bar in the 64^th minute, high pressure forced a turnover and allowed Jessika Cowart to get a shot from the high center of the box off. The shot beat the keeper but went just wide of the post.

"Defensively we played better," said Lesle Gallimore. "Games are going to come down to the same things we keep talking about: we created enough chances, but we need to be more dangerous on our corner kicks, and we need to execute better."

		SCORING
26:36 \| UCLA took the lead on their first shot on goal of the game. The Bruins played the ball back from above the box to an attacker entering on the right wing. Ruelas made a diving effort on the play but couldn't quite get enough of the ball to stop it from trickling in. 82:47 \| The Bruins were able to dribble the ball in from the left wing, finding room for an eventual shot that went in toward the left post.

		NOTES
Hussen has multiple shots on goal in three consecutive games. Over the last two games, Ruelas has made 13 saves. Brisco's two shots off the bench gave her her second game of multiple shots this year.
