UW Takes On Pacific At Home On Saturday

SEATTLE – Washington men's tennis looks to bounce back after a tough loss by hosting Pacific in the Nordstrom Tennis Center on Saturday at 4 p.m. PT.
The Huskies (1-1) have never lost to the Tigers (1-3) in the series history. The Dawgs lead 11-0, the last win coming in 2012 in Seattle, a 7-0 victory.
Last Saturday, Washington battled No. 17 Michigan to a 4-3 loss. Senior captain Jake Douglas picked up a big individual win, upsetting No. 20 Runhao Hua at the No. 2 singles spot.
Pacific is coming off of its first win of the 2018 season against George Washington. After dropping the first three dual matches of the year, the Tigers won 7-0 on Sunday. Pacific has one doubles duo in the ITA rankings, Akram El Sallaly and Bernardo Oliveira at No. 34.
