UW Battles Seattle U Tuesday At Bannerwood Park

SEATTLE - Washington (21-16, 8-7 Pac-12) will meet Seattle University (13-24-1, 5-10 WAC) for the second time this season on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.. The game will be played at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue and will be streamed live online by the WAC Digital Network.
Seattle U won the first game between the two teams, 4-2, back on April 4 at Husky Ballpark. Washington will host Seattle U in the series finale on Tuesday, May 9.
Tuesday's matchup will feature Husky junior right-hander Alex Hardy (5-0, 3.78) taking the hill against Redhawks freshman righty Lucas Chapman (1-2, 5.03). Hardy will be making his first career start after coming out of the bullpen for the first 30 appearances in his career. He leads the team in wins with five and ranks fourth on the team with 14 games pitched.
Several Huskies come into the week streaking. MJ Hubbs has reached base safely in 30 consecutive games, including a current career-high 12-game hitting streak. Joey Morgan has a modest five-game hit streak but is an impressive 10-for-20 with two home runs and five RBIs.
UW leads the all-time series 77-52 and has won each of the last two season series. Seattle U took two of three against the Dawgs in 2014.
Washington returns to Pac-12 action on Friday, hosting the Cal Bears in a three-game series.
