Dawgs Return to the Course for LSU Invite

BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of Washington women's golf team continues its spring campaign at the LSU Invitational this Friday-Sunday, March 24-26, at the University Club on the campus of Louisiana State University. Due to impending weather, the teams will play 36 holes on Friday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. followed by the final 18 holes on Sunday morning.

Washington's lineup will feature sophomore Julianne Alvarez, freshman Karen Miyamoto, sophomore Wenyung Keh and Sarah Rhee. Washington will be pairedwith Missouri and Tulane while Eun Won Park will be playing as an individual.

The 15-team field (GolfStat Rankings) features Duke (11), Oklahoma State (19), NC State (29), SMU (37), Clemson (43), Kentucky (50), Arkansas, Missouri, LSU, Denver, Kansas, UNC Wilmington, Tulane and UTSA.

This is the fourth tournament of the season for the Huskies who most recently posted their second-straight top 10 finish with a seventh place showing at the Bruin/Wave Invitational. Freshman Karen Miyamoto once again led the Dawgs as she finished tied for 15^th alongside sophomore Wenyung Keh at 5-over 231.

Play for the defending National Championships gets started at 8 a.m. CT in Louisiana.
