UW (8-7, 1-2) vs. California (11-5, 2-2)
UW hits the road for its first Pac-12 Conference games away from Alaska Airlines Arena, first facing California on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports 1 with Aaron Goldsmith, Casey Jacobsen and Kristen Balboni on the call. Additionally, fans can tune into KOMO 1000AM/97.7FM to hear Bob Rondeau and Jason Hamilton call the action. Cal leads the all-time series 83-78 and Washington last won at Haas on Jan. 9, 2013.
The Coach
Head Coach Lorenzo Romar, in his 15th year at Washington, has amassed a 297-181 (.621) during his time in Seattle and an overall mark of 390-269 (.592) in 21 seasons. Romar, the longest tenured coach in the Pac-12, has taken the Huskies to the NCAA tournament six times including three Sweet 16 appearances.
