AMHERST, Mass. - The Husky women's soccer team got production from all over the field as three different Dawgs scored with assists from three others in their 3-0 victory at Massachusetts on Friday night. UW improves to 2-0 on the season while UMass falls to 0-1.
"We are pleased with the second shutout in a row," said head coach Lesle Gallimore. "We are also happy with putting up multiple goals and giving ourselves a cushion. It was our first true road game and we drove two hours from Boston to get to Amherst, so given the conditions I thought we played well. I thought we created a great atmosphere for ourselves, playing the game we wanted to ply. We passed our first big road test and have another one on Sunday."
