SEATTLE, Wash. -
The 19th-ranked Washington men's tennis team lost to fifth-ranked Duke in the second round of the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships by a score of 0-4. Washington earned a victory from doubles play from Husky duo Jeremy Berman and Andy Posavac, but couldn't hold on, losing both the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches.
In singles play, Matt Hanlin, Andrej Bizjak, and Marius Lunde all suffered losses, while Berman, Posavac, and Ari Strasberg did not finish their matches.
Washington will face Florida in the consolation round at 8 p.m. in the Nordstrom Tennis Center tomorrow night.
