BERKELEY, Calif. - - The Washington men's tennis team(27) beat out University of California(41) today 5-2. The Huskies improved their record to 6-3.
The Huskies freshman sensation Matt Hanlin(65) defeated John Paul Fruttero, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2. The two ranked Husky junior's Jeremy Berman(88) and Marius Lunde(100) both pulled out victories as well.
The Huskies travel to Louisville, Kentucky Feb. 24 - 27 to compete in the USTA/ITA National Team Championships.
