2017 (Senior)
- Set the Husky single-season record with 11 shutouts
- Twice shutout ranked opponents, blanking #2 Florida and #24 Utah
- Had a 515:54-minute shutout streak, the longest for the Huskies since 1991
- Named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending September 10
- Had a 400-minute shutout streak after allowing a goal against #13 Cal
- Made nine saves against #1 Stanford, breaking her career-high set against #13 Cal
- Finished fifth in UW history in career shutouts with 15
- 0.72 GAA was second-lowest in UW history (0.68, Hope Solo, 2001)
- Tied the UW record for lowest career GAA at 0.98 (also: Megan Kufeld, 2011-15)

- Started 12 games in goal for the Huskies this seasonΒ
- Recorded three shutouts against Tennessee, Cal Poly and Seattle
- Grabbed a season-best five saves in shutout of Tennessee and against Cal

- Started and played full 90 minutes versus Cal, earning her first shutout as Husky
2013 (Freshman)
- Made her Husky debut in relief for goalkeeper Megan Kufeld, playing 14 minutes versus Seattle
High School
- Three-time First Team South Puget Sound League selection for Federal Way
- Three-time defensive MVP for the Eagles and named team MVP as a senior
- Named to the all-state team as a senior. Played her club soccer for the Washington Premier FC out of Puyallup, Wash., and helped the team make the ECNL Nationals in Chicago in 2012
- The team made the semifinals in part because of Shimer saving a penalty kick in the quarters
- Made ECNL all-event team in San Diego in 2012
- Invited to the ECNL Player Development Program (PDP) in 2012
- Won a state cup with the Federal Way Reign in 2010 where she saved two PK's in the final. And saved two PKβs in a quarterfinal win at regionals that same year

- Sarah Shimer was bornΒ in Seattle, Wash.
- Her three siblings are all Huskies: Kathryn, Andrew, and twin brother Chris
- Her parents are Pete and Laurel Shimer, both UW athletic dept. alums
- Dad played basketball and was the 101 Club Scholar athlete his senior year
- Mom was on the Husky cheer squad
- Hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, going to church, and making crafts
