2014-15 (Senior): Finished his senior season with an overall singles record of 11-5, competing mostly in the five spot…started the season winning seven of ten matches…earned a Pac-12 win near the end of the season, defeating Trevor James of Arizona (6-4, 6-1)…competed most of his doubles matches with Hakak and Barra…posted a 6-1 record with Hakak playing in the two spot…went 3-7 with Barra, including wins against doubles teams from No. 24 Drake, No. 38 Stanford and Utah…overall contributed 11 wins to the team’s winning season singles record of 86-55 and 10 wins to their also winning doubles record of 36-31.
2013-14 (Junior): Majority of his season was performed at the five spots, with a few appearances at the four spot, finishing his junior year with a season record of 12-9 in singles play, earning the most wins in singles play for the Huskies…held an impressive three game winning streak in the heart of season just before Pac-12 play, defeating No. 42 Minnesota’s Jeremy Lynn in a near shutout of 6-1, 6-0, No. 46 Virginia Tech’s Florian Nicoud (6-3, 3-6, 6-2), and Gonzaga’s Vicente Varas in a shutout of 6-0, 6-0…picked up three Pac-12 wins toward the end of the season, defeating Will Kneale of Arizona (7-6, 6-3), No. 58 Utah’s Devin Lane (7-6, 5-7, 2-1) and had back to back wins against No. 44 Oregon’s Joey Swaysland, one defeat in the season play (6-3, 6-0) and again the following week in the first round of the Pac-12 championship (6-4, 6-4)…paired with with Max Manthou in doubles play, competing at the one and two spot and earning an overall season record of 11-12…snagged six major Pac-12 wins including No. 40 Stanford, No. 5 UCLA, Arizona, No. 58 Utah and No. 44 Oregon…had an outstand win in singles play against Gonzaga, shutting out Vicente Varas (14) on March 14…Farkas earned the most wins for the Huskies in single play, with a contribution of 12 wins to the team’s winning record of 72-61, as well as the most amount of wins for the team in doubles play, earning 11 more wins for the Huskies winning record in doubles play of 35-33.
2012-13 (Sophomore): Competed at the two, three, four and five spot in singles play, ending the season with an overall record of 12-13…picked up his two spot win against Gonzaga in the season opener on January 12, defeating Oliver Jamin (6-4, 6-2)…finished 2-1 in both the three and four spot, with a couple of his outstanding defeats including No. 17 Tulsa in the second game of the season on January 18, defeating Alejandro Espejo (7-5, 6-3) at the three spot, as well as dominating UNLV’s Charlie Alvarado (6-1, 6-3)…competed a majority of his matches at the five spot, picking up seven wins and 11 losses at this spot...picked up two straight wins in the five spot in the early season against Ashot Khacharyan of Santa Clara (6-2, 4-5), and No. 38 Boise State’s Garrett Patton (6-1, 6-3)…paired with both Jeff Hawke, Kyle McMorrow and Max Manthou in doubles play…competed the majority of the season at the three spot with Hawke, with one win coming from the top spot against Seattle University’s Malaguiti/Rapp (8-2) just before Pac-12 play on March 15…at the three spot, picked up three wins in a three-game winning streak in late January, first defeating Portland’s Devel/Andreason in a shutout of 8-0, then defeating Santa Clara’s Muchysnki/Kharcharyan (8-3), and Boise State’s Mitchell/Pogostkin (8-5)…another important win at the five spot comes from The Hawke/Farkas duo defeating UNLV’s Alavarado/Sublette (8-2)…the duo finished with an overall season record of 6-6, earning the third most wins for any doubles play duos…competed in one doubles play match paired with McMorrow, earning a 1-0 season record by dominating Gonzaga’s Smith/Varas (8-4) at the number two spot in the opening match of the season on January 12...paired with Manthou, lost in their three matches at the three spot...Overall, Farkas contributed 12 wins to the team’s winning record of 101-70 in singles play, as well as seven wins to their also winning doubles play record of 41-39.
2011-12 (Freshman): Joined the team at the start of winter quarter just before dual play began, and immediately started in the singles lineup ... posted a 10-12 record in dual singles matches, going 5-7 at No. 4 singles and 5-5 at No. 5 singles ... won his first three singles matches and six of his first eight ... came through with one of the biggest pressure wins of the year at Oregon, when he broke a 3-3 tie with a comeback 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-3 win over Daniel Sardu at No. 4 singles to clinch the Husky win ... also had big non-conference wins over Michael Zhu of Michigan, Mbonisi Ndamande of UC Santa Barbara, and Erik Cederwall of Pacific ... after a slow start to conference play, he closed out the year with three wins in his last four matches, getting his first Pac-12 win over Kieren Thompson of Arizona, then beating Aaron Clissold of Oregon in dual matches ... ended the year on a winning note, defeating Robbie Mudge of North Carolina State, 7-6 (2), 6-2, in the NCAA first round at No. 5 singles in the Husky win ... played just five doubles matches, going 3-3 overall, all in dual matches ... was 1-1 at No. 1 doubles with Kyle McMorrow, getting a win over Eastern Washington ... also teamed with Marton Bots, Jeff Hawke, and Matt Stith ... was named to the ITA All-Academic Team.
