2014-15 (Junior): Competed in one match this season at the four spot, finishing with a record of 1-0…defeated Seattle University’s Gus Orlando (6-2, 7-5).
2013-14 (Sophomore): Competed in one match this season at the six spot in singles play, and finishing with a record of 1-0, defeating Seattle University during the second round in singles play, dominating Connor Leahy (6-1, 6-1)…appeared one in doubles play match with Jeff Hawke, defeating Eastern Washington’s Ness/Burghart (8-4), earning them a record of 1-0…Puscalau earned the Huskies two wins for the 2014 season record.
2011-12 (Freshman): Redshirted the season to preserve a year of eligibility.
High School and Personal: Born in Piatra Neamt, Romania ... parents are Georgeta and Cristian Puscalau ... ranked among the top-six players in the PNW junior section for ages 14, 16, and 18 ... reached the PNW sectionals semifinals in singles in 2010 ... won the PNW sectionals doubles title in 2008 ... attended the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in 2010-11 ... has been coached by former UW assistant Gordon O'Reilly ... graduated with a 4.0 grade point average ... considering majoring in bioengineering.
