2010-11 (Freshman): Joined the Husky lineup a month into the season, and had an up and down first year as a regular starter in both singles and doubles ... was 1-2 at No. 3 singles and 7-9 at No. 4 singles ... lost his first three matches before breaking through on the road with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win over Vanderbilt's Blake Bazarnik ... proceeded to win eight of nine singles matches from Feb. 12 through Mar. 22 ... earned a critical win over Texas A&M's Alexey Grigorov, 7-6, 6-3, as UW upset the 10th-ranked Aggies, 4-2, on Feb. 19 ... had an 8-4 record before losing seven straight to end the season ... a key doubles contributor, pairing with Marton Bots to compile a 12-6 record, all at No. 3 doubles ... first doubles win was big, as he and Bots knocked off 12th-ranked Kentucky's Musialek and Gomez, 8-6, as UW took the doubles point ... won nine straight matches from Feb. 20 to Mar. 26, including impressive wins over Clarke/Moreno of Pepperdine, and Seguso/Kosakowski of UCLA ... picked up their first ranked win of the season, beating Stanford's 67th-ranked Kelly and Clayton, 8-3, at third doubles on Apr. 8 ... earned an 8-5 win over Jacobs and McPhee of Cal Poly in the first round of the NCAA Team Championships.
