2015 Season (Sophomore): Played in all 19 games, including 17 starts … named to the NSCAA All-Far West Region Third Team … earned All-Pac-12 Second Team honors … led all Husky attacking players with 1,642 minutes of action on the year … led the Dawgs with 50 shots and also had a team-leading 18 shots on goal … was the Husky who most often tested opposing goalkeepers, although he did not score…earned Second Team Academic All-Pac-12 honors.
2014 Season (Freshman): Made four game starts and saw playing time in 19…scored one goal and had two assists… recorded a game winning assist to Blanchard in win over Cal (10/2/14)….first career goal was an unassisted shot off a deflected rebound against Oregon State (10/12/14)… converted his PK in eighth round of PK’s where they won 6-5 over Furman (11/23/14).
High School/Personal: Wingo is a local product who attended Shorecrest High School and played his club soccer for the Seattle Sounders Academy...Scored 12 goals for the Sounders U-18’s over the past two seasons...Had experience with the U.S. Youth National Team, playing for the U-14 and U-15’s, while being selected to the U-17 National Team Pool...Wingo was listed as the 68th-ranked player in the nation by CollegeSoccerNew.com...His brother Teddy Wingo played collegiately at Vermont and now professionally for Stryn Fotball Klub in Norway...
