Clark on Miglietti: "Gio is a hard-nosed player that can play any central position from target forward to central defender. He's played at two great clubs growing up (Pateadores and Sounders), so he has been very well coached. Once we find his best position, he'll work tirelessly to make it his own."

Why Miglietti Chose Washington: "I chose UW because the environment on and off the field that Coach Clark and his staff have created at the University of Washington was unlike any other I visited. Coach Clark and Coach Rowland showed great interest in getting to know me as a person, and not just a soccer player. Meeting the team and getting to know everyone off the field made the decision very simple. Coach Clark and his staff have proven that they can continue to develop players for the next level and playing for the Pac-12 in which every team in the division can compete for the division title will be very exciting and rewarding as a player. Academically speaking, there aren’t many schools that can rival the standards and prestige UW has established."
