Alika Ziker joined the UW coaching staff for the start of the 2019-20 season and returns for a second year in 2020-21.

Born and raised in Seattle, Ziker rowed for Green Lake Crew and went on to the University of Michigan, where he was a four-year rower. He graduated from Michigan in 2016. As a senior, he rowed in the varsity eight that won the ARCA national championship.

After college, Ziker served as an assistant coach for the women's team at Loyola Marymount in 2016-17 and then spent the last two years coaching with Green Lake Crew.
