Megan Black returned to Montlake in 2023, currently serving as executive assistant to the head coach on Danny Sprinkle's staff.
During the 2022-23 season, Black served a dual role as the director of operations and assistant coach for the University of Nebraska-Omaha women's basketball program. Picked to finish last in the conference pre-season, the Mavericks made the Summit League Championship game finishing one game away from March Madness.
Black has served as an advance scout for the Indiana Fever since 2023 and spent the 2022 season as a video associate for the Minnesota Lynx.
Black started at Washington in 2017 as a student manager with Coach Hopkins’ staff. In 2020, Black founded Grow the Game, a non-profit organization for college basketball student managers. Grow the Game exists to increase accessibility to working in college athletics.
Black earned her Bachelor of Arts in political economy from the University of Washington in 2021. She earned her Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership at Washington in 2022.
