2018-19 (Track): Qualified for his first NCAA Prelims on the track, competing in the 10,000-meters … finished 43rd overall in the 10k at West Prelims in Sacramento in 30:18.11 … ran a 10,000-meters PR of 29:23.43 at the Cardinal Classic for third-place … finished 13th in the 10k at the Pac-12 Championships in Tucson … scored a point in third in the 5,000m at the UW-WSU Dual in 14:32.96 … did not compete indoors ... (Cross Country): Had his best season yet, scoring at all three championship races to help Washington to one of its best seasons in school history … at the NCAA Championships, was the No. 4 scorer for the Dawgs in 67th-place with a time of 30:22 as UW finished sixth-place overall for its second-best finish ever and best in 25 years … his 67th-place finish was an improvement of 51 spots from 2017 … at West Regionals, finished 30th overall as the fifth Husky finisher to help the team take second and auto advance to nationals … had a career-best 17th-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, fourth on the team, to help UW take second-place, its highest finish since 1994 … got a victory in the B race at Pre-Nationals in Wisconsin, winning in a time of 24:29 … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2017-18 (Track): Raced four times during the outdoor season including at his first Pac-12 Track Championships … moved up to the 10k for the first time at the Pac-12 meet, finishing 18th overall in 31:17.35 … set an outdoor 5k PR as he got the victory at the UW-WSU Dual in 14:24.35 … season debut was the 5,000m at the Stanford Invitational, placing eighth in his section in 14:32.27 … did not compete indoors … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention ... (Cross Country): A major breakthrough fall season as he emerged as one of UW’s top runners, helping the team finish 22nd at the NCAA Championships … scored in the top-five at each of the final four meets of the season … at his first NCAA Championships, was the third Husky finisher in 118th-place overall in a time of 30:53 … a top-10 finisher at West Regionals in Seattle, placing ninth in 29:45, third on the squad, to earn All-West Region honors … was 47th at the Pac-12 Championships, fifth on the squad, in 24:46 … big breakout performance came at the Wisconsin Invitational, where he was the No. 2 Husky finisher after never running higher than fifth on the team to that point, placing 91st overall in 24:39 … finished 49th at the Dellinger Invite, eighth on the squad, in 24:27 … finished seventh at the season-opening Sundodger Invite in 24:42, fifth among Huskies in uniform … a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2016-17 (Track): Competed four times during the outdoor season, twice in the steeplechase and twice in the 1,500-meters … ran the steeple for the first time at the UW-WSU Dual, taking fifth in 9:55.22 … next steeple finished in 9:54.23 at the OSU High Performance Meet … a 1,500m time of 4:00.81 at the Doris Heritage Festival ... (Cross Country): Stepped onto the travel squad and finished in the Husky top-seven at four of five races … ran at his first Pac-12 Championships, finishing 65th overall, sixth on the team … also sixth on the team at the West Regional Championships, finishing 174th overall … placed 180th at the Wisconsin Invitational, the No. 6 finisher, in 26:28 … crossed the line 41st at the Washington Invite in 24:47 … was the seventh Husky in uniform at the season-opening Sundodger in 35th-place overall … earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2015-16 (Track): Redshirted the season, competing three times unattached indoors … ran the 3,000-meters at the Husky Classic, finishing in a time of 8:19.67 … also ran the mile once at the UW Indoor Preview in 4:16.06 ... (Cross Country): Redshirted the fall, competing twice unattached … was 10th at the Emerald City Open at Woodland Park … opened the year finishing 21st at the Sundodger Invite in 25:13.
High School and Personal: Born in Kennewick, Washington … parents are Sandra and Ronald Snyder … has one older brother, Phillip, who also attends UW … father was a UW graduate … a two-time top-10 finisher at the Washington 3A cross country championships … the Mid-Columbia Conference cross country champion as a senior … finished third at the 2014 state championships after a ninth-place finish as a junior in 2013 … finished fourth at the 2014 Nike BorderClash … helped his team finish seventh at Nike Cross Nationals in 2012 … took 13th at the Nike Cross Northwest Regionals in 2014 … on the track, won conference titles in both the 1,600m and 3,200m as a senior … was ninth at the 3A state track meet as a junior in the 3,200-meters … set a 3,200m PR of 9:05.03 at the 2014 Pasco Invitational, finishing fourth … graduated with a 3.59 GPA and interested in studying life sciences.
