Kade Kryzsko enters his first season with the Diamond Dawgs in 2025-26 as an assistant coach.
Most recently, Kryzsko served as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Lassen College. In his lone season with the Cougars, Kryzsko helped lead the team to a 27-15-1 record.Β
Prior to Lassen, Kryzsko spent 3 seasons with Utah Valley University for the 2022-2024 seasons where he was the first base coach and the outfield coach. During his time in Orem Utah, 4 different outfielders moved on to play professional baseball following their time playing for Coach Kryz.
In his 3 years with UVU, he helped guide the outfield to 13, 13 and 15 outfield assists. During this time, the outfield excelled in handling the baseball capped by a .988 fielding percentage which came in at the second highest fielding percentage in school history.
Prior to his coaching career beginning at Utah Valley, Kryzsko spent time playing professionally overseas in Berlin, Germany. Here he played as a starting pitcher as well as both infield and outfield. In 2019, he broke the league record for home runs in a single season. During this time, he also served as an assistant coach for the Berlin Flamingos.Β
From 2017-2018, Kryzsko played at Indiana University in the Big Ten Conference. Here, he won the 2017 βHoosier Awardβ for his work ethic and dedication both on and off the field exemplifying the true meaning of a Hoosier. IU played in a regional both seasons that Kryzsko was part of the program. Upon graduation, he earned his bachelorβs degree from Indiana University in 2018 in liberal studies (with a minor in sociology).
From 2015-2016, Kryzsko played at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington. Here he excelled on the diamond as he earned All-American honors as a pitcher and infielder.
Kryzsko hails from Covington, Washington, where he won a state championship at Kentwood High School and earned All-Star honors. He also set the school record in ERA as a pitcher in his Junior season.
