2017 Season (Redshirt Senior): Appeared in all 20 matches, making 10 starts ... recorded one assist on the year, recording the helper on Kyle Coffee's goal against San Diego State (10/5/18) after his shot beat the keeper but rattled off the post and went right to Coffee for the easy finish ... had 11 shots including five on goal ... played 874 minutes ... earned honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic honors.
2016 Season (Redshirt Junior): Saw action in 21 games, including 13 starts ... logged 814 minutes on the season ... recorded a goal against New Mexico ... 15 shots on the season.
2015 Season (Redshirt Sophomore): Saw action in all 19 games, including eight starts … tied for the team lead in points with six … scored two goals and notched two assists on the season … both goals were game-winners … scored the only goal in Washington’s season-opening win over Gonzaga (8/28) … finished a Josh Heard cutback for the only goal in a 1-0 win over Oregon State at Husky Soccer Field (10/18) … assisted on a Danny Gavin diving header in the Pac-12 opener, a 1-0 win over San Diego State … also notched an assist in a 3-0 win over UC Davis (8/30) … finished the season with 18 shots, including seven on goal… earned Second Team Academic All-Pac-12 honors.
2014 Season (Redshirt Freshman): The redshirt freshman played in 16 games for the Huskies this season and had one game start...in the 9th round of PKs against Furman (11/23/14), connected the Huskies’ 6th and final PK to advance Washington to the Round of 16 in the NCAA tournament…scored his first career goal, which was also the game-winner, in the Huskies 3-2 victory over California (10/2/14).
2013 Season (Freshman): Redshirted.
High School/Club: Played his club soccer for Eastside FC for a team that was arguably the most successful club team in Washington Soccer history ... helped Eastside FC win 6 straight State Championships as well as one regional championship in 2011 ... was named first-team All-State at Sammamish HS in 2012 as well as being named Team MVP.
Personal: Major is undeclared ... parents are Nicolette and Clark Blanchard, both of whom attended UW ... has one sister, Danielle ... enjoys kicking back and relaxing during his free time ... most admires his father and uses him as his main role model.
