2010-11 (Senior): Started every match for the Dawgs and provided numerous clutch victories as the Huskies made the NCAA Second Round ... set career-highs in dual wins in both singles and doubles, going 17-7 in dual singles matches and 14-8 in doubles matches; 23-11 overall in singles play and 19-10 in doubles ... went 5-1 at No. 4 singles and 12-6 at No. 5 ... his victory over Texas A&M's Colin Hoover (7-6, 6-3) clinched the 4-2 win over the 10th-ranked Aggies ... came back from a set and 4-5 down to beat Andre Stenger of Nebraska, 1-6, 7-5, 6-4 as UW pulled out the 4-3 victory on Feb. 5 ... came out on top in 11 of his final 13 dual singles matches ... won back-to-back No. 5 singles matches at home against Greg Hirshman of Stanford, and Ben McLachlan of Cal, the latter a key in the 4-3 upset win ... big comeback win over Pepperdine's David Sofaer, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2 ... in the fall, made the finals of the PNW Intercollegiates, falling to teammate Kyle McMorrow ... played every doubles match with Martin Kildahl, earning a career-best No. 33 ranking on Jan. 4, and staying ranked for six periods ... started the season 18-3 in doubles before struggling down the stretch ... won the PNW Intercollegiate title, upsetting 25th-ranked teammates McMorrow and Nedunchezhiyan in the final, 9-8 ... won 10-straight doubles matches from Oct. 17 to Feb. 4 ... an 8-5 win at second doubles against Texas A&M's Ore and Grigorov as UW took the doubles point and went on to the upset win ... fell in the first round of the Pac-10 Championships to UCLA's Inbar and Hardie ... named to the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team for the third straight year, becoming the third Husky with three straight selections ... also earned his second straight Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team selection.
2009-10 (Junior): One of UW's top student-athletes, he was named Pac-10 All-Academic First Team as well as CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII At-Large First Team ... had his best season on the court as well, posting a career-high 24 singles wins, tops on the team, and went 16-5 in dual singles play ... went 13-5 at No. 5 singles, and 1-0 at third, fourth, and sixth singles as well ... won 10 of his first 11 dual matches, and only loss was 6-4 in the third set at Illinois ... had a key 6-4, 6-3 win over Nikolas Zogan of Arkansas in UW's 4-3 win ... rallied to beat Jeff Mullen, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 as UW upset No. 21 Boise State ... earned a big win over 105th-ranked Blas Moros of Notre Dame, 6-3, 6-3 ... best ranked win of the year came against 84th-ranked Peter Lucassen of USC at home, winning a second-set tiebreak and leading 6-1 in the super-tiebreak when Lucassen defaulted ... also had Pac-10 wins vs. Arizona and Oregon ... knocked off UCLA's Kallim Stewart in the Pac-10 Championships first round, before coming up short against 8th-ranked Robert Farah of USC ... ended the year with a big 7-6 (1), 6-2 victory over Isamu Tachibana at No. 5 singles against Rice in the NCAA First Round ... was ranked for much of the season in doubles with Alex Rosinski, setting a career-high with a No. 42 ranking on Feb. 18 ... with Rosinski, went 18-11 overall and 11-8 in dual matches ... won 10 of their first 12 dual matches ... won their No. 3 doubles match against Rice in the NCAA First Round, 8-2, over Podlewski/Polyakov ... reached the finals of the Pac-10 Invitational doubles tourney with wins over teams from USC and UCLA before dropping 8-4 to Hirshman/Kehrer of Stanford in the final ... reached the doubles semis at ITA NW Regionals with Rosinski, upending former Pac-10 doubles champ Richard Wire and Alex Clayton in the second round.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Had the biggest win of the season for the Huskies, fighting back from the brink of defeat at No. 6 singles in UW's NCAA First Round match to wind up clinching a 4-3 win over Texas Tech ... against Texas Tech, Obenaus was down 1-6, 3-5 and 15-40 on his opponent's serve but saved both match points, took the second set in a tiebreak, and then easily won the third set, 6-1 ... missed the fall season due to injury, and made singles debut on Jan. 30 with a win over Indiana in National Team Indoor qualifying ... went 7-5 in singles play overall and was 4-1 at No. 6 singles, 2-3 at No. 5, and 1-0 at No. 3 ... played in the main draw of Pac-10's for the first time, falling to 7th-ranked Robert Farah of USC in the first round ... won a marathon 7-6, 3-6, 7-6 match against Oklahoma's Blake Boswell in the Great Northwest Shootout ... earned wins in Pac-10 duals against USC and Oregon ... was 9-12 overall in doubles play with four different partners ... most success came with Brad Bator as they went 4-3 at No. 3 doubles with wins over Oklahoma, Boise State, Oregon, and Fresno State ... was 3-6 with Alex Rosinski, also playing in Pac-10 doubles invitational draw but losing in the first round.
2007-08 (Freshman): Showed himself to be one of the grittiest Huskies on the team, fighting for every point ... went 9-9 overall in singles play, 3-4 in dual play, and was 17-8 in doubles ... after dropping his first two college matches, he won six of his next eight, including a run to the quarterfinals of the ITA NW Regional Championships, eventually losing to Cal's Bozhidar Katsarov ... at the ITA National Team Indoors, he played three of his most dramatic matches, but none reached the finish as one team clinched every night with Obenaus in a third set ... hit a rough patch during the middle of the season, but finished strong at Pac-10's by advancing to the quarterfinals of the Invitational draw ... in the Pac-10 Invite first round, he defeated USC's Jason McNaughton, the No. 5 singles player for the Trojans, then defeated Oregon's No. 5 player, Romeo Mortera ... spent the majority of the season as UW's No. 3 doubles team along with Martin Kildahl, going 11-5 at No. 3 and 13-6 overall ... the pair won nine-straight dual matches from Feb. 16 until Mar. 25, defeating duos from Alabama, Illinois, and Pepperdine among others ... with Obenaus, reached the semifinals of the Pac-10 Invitational, losing to a USC pair ... also went 4-2 in the fall paired with Patrik Fischer, the two reaching the quarterfinals of the ITA NW Regionals, and the semifinals of the top flight at the Chandler Cup.
