Huskies Earn IRCA All-America And Scholar-Athlete Awards

The Washington men's rowing team has earned a number of accolades from the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA), as five Huskies have earned All-America, while 11 UW athletes were honored as IRCA Scholar-Athletes.
The Huskies, who won the program's 22nd IRA National Championship last month, had four athletes named to the All-America first team: coxswain Nikita Jacobs; and rowers Lyle Donovan, Sam Ford and Ben Shortt. Varsity stroke Cameron Tasker earned second-team All-America.
All five of those Huskies were also named to the Scholar-Athlete team, along with six additional teammates: Tobias Bosnes, Dimitri Chamitoff, Marley King Smith, Ewan Morrow, Anjali Pamurthy, and Ryan Smith.
