Regular Season Closes As Huskies Finish Tied For 10th At Silverado Showdown

NAPA, Calif. – The Huskies closed out play at the Chevron Silverado Showdown, bringing the last tournament of the regular season to a close. Washington finished tied for 10th out of 16 teams with a 54-hole total of 894 and a par total of +30, carding a 294 round total for the final day.
Carmen Lim paced the front of the Washington lineup throughout the tournament, posting a two-over round to finish tied for 21st overall after her two previous even-par days to card a tournament total of 218.
Amber Li turned in the low round of the day, firing a two-under total to climb into a tie for 27th at plus four overall. Athena Ni followed with a two-over round to finish tied for 37th.
Mads Smith recorded a four-over round to place tied for 79th at +18, while Wendy Tang also carded a four-over to finish 86th at +22.
"We improved each day and were really excited about that!" said head coach Anna Temple. "Amber's two-under round was a great way for her to finish the tournament. And it was great to see everyone playing down to the last shot. The consistency of how we played the last two days is more of what we want to see."
With the regular season complete, the Huskies now turn their attention to the postseason focusing on the Big Ten Championship.
