Women’s Golf Signs Yoonae Jeong

SEATTLE – UW women's golf head coach Anna Temple has announced the addition of Yoonae Jeong, who will join the Husky squad in the fall of 2026.
Jeong is the third signee for Temple's 2026-27 roster, joining Ha Young Chang and Hannah Ounap.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jeong and her family moved to Queenstown, New Zealand in 2017 after taking a brief visit there, and she has trained there ever since.
"I'm very excited to welcome Yoonae to the program," said head coach Anna Temple. "Her love for the game and commitment to working hard and competing make her a solid fit."
Jeong has recorded three first-place finishes, most recently finishing at the top of the Southland Strokeplay Championship in January 2026 where she notched a three-round total of 225.
"I really enjoyed getting to know her through the recruiting process and I'm excited for the opportunity in front of her," Temple added.
She also won titles at back-to-back competitions in May 2025, finishing in first place at the NextGen Amateur Tour Royal Wellington as well as the NextGen Amateur Tour Auckland.
Jeong has recorded 16 top 5 finishes dating back to 2024 at multiple levels.
