Washington Prepares For Western Intercollegiate

SEATTLE – Washington men's golf has its final tune up of the season at the 79th edition of the Western Intercollegiate beginning on Monday.
Golf Channel will air coverage of the tournament beginning at 4 p.m. PT each day and live scoring is available through Clippd.
Tee times at Pasatiempo Golf Course begin at 8 a.m. PT on Monday. Teams will play 18 holes each day on the par 70 course registering 6,511 yards. This is the first tournament of the season the Huskies will play that is a play six, count five.
Joining the Huskies in the field are No. 22 Arizona, No. 24 BYU, Cal, Chattanooga, Hawaii, Nihon University, Oregon, No. 13 Pepperdine, San Diego State, San Jose State, No. 18 Stanford, UC Irvine, UNLV and USC.
Washington will be paired with Nihon University beginning at 10:36 a.m. PT off hole No. 1.
In the five tournaments of the spring, Washington has posted an average score of 285.2 each round. Finn Koelle, Jacob Goode and Jack Murphy are the three Huskies that have played in each tournament this season. Koelle and Goode are leading the team with scoring averages of 72.6 and 72.3, respectively. Freshman Emil Herstad is averaging 71.5 in his 12 rounds this spring.
