
GymDawgs Close Home Season with Senior Night Victory

SEATTLE – The GymDawgs sent their seniors out with a bang on Senior Night, delivering a performance filled with career-high scores and event titles on their way to a 195.725–194.800 victory over No. 50 Sacramento State.
Washington opened the meet on vault, their strongest event of the night and of the season for that rotation, recording a 49.125. Jessica Schaffer and Lilly Tubbs led the Huskies with matching 9.850s, tying for first place overall. The score matched Schaffer's career-high and Tubbs' season-high. Kristin Lin and Mary McDonough followed with 9.825s, matching Lin's career-high and McDonough's season-high, tying for third place. Lana Navarro, making her first appearance in the vault lineup this season, rounded out the rotation with a 9.775.
The Huskies then moved to bars, their second-best rotation of the night, scoring a 49.025. Deiah Moody and Tubbs shared the event title with matching 9.900s, making this Moody's career-high. Lin followed with a 9.825, matching her career-high, while McDonough added a 9.725 to close out the rotation.
On beam, Washington scored 48.550. Tubbs led the rotation with a career-high 9.925, capturing the event title. Olivia Oppegard followed with a career-high 9.875 to place second overall, while Chelsea Hallinan recorded a 9.850, finishing third.
Washington closed the meet on floor with a 49.025, one of their top event scores of the night. Caitlin McWilliams led the rotation with a 9.850, earning a share of the event title and recording her fourth straight 9.850. Lin followed with a 9.825 to place third overall, while Kira Bolden scored a 9.800 to tie for fourth.
Lin finished the night with a 38.675 in the all-around.
