Huskies Head to Cal Quad for Season Finale

SEATTLE – Washington has a quick turn around from Friday's final home meet in celebration of their seniors to the Cal Quad on Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m. PT. Where they compete against No. 16 California, No. 58 UC Davis, and No. 19 Penn State for one last regular season meet.
The meet will be broadcast on ESPN with Tim Swartz and Evan Heiter on the call. Live scoring is available HERE.
Washington closed out its final home meet of the season with a 195.725–194.800 victory over No. 50 Sacramento State on Senior Night, while also setting a season-long attendance record at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Huskies opened strong on vault (49.125), led by Jessica Schaffer and Lilly Tubbs, who tied for first with matching 9.850s. On bars (49.025), Deiah Moody and Tubbs shared the event title with 9.900s, marking a career-high for Moody. Tubbs continued her standout night on beam, winning the event with a career-high 9.925, while Olivia Oppegard added a career-high 9.875. Washington closed on floor (49.025), where Caitlin McWilliams earned a share of the event title with a 9.850, her fourth straight score at that mark. Kristin Lin also competed in the all-around, finishing with a 38.675.
The Huskies enter the week ranked No. 38 nationally and No. 11 in the Big Ten.

Cal gymnastics enters the meet after posting their second-highest team score of the season, 197.075, finishing second to No. 10 Stanford. Jayden Silvers led vault with a 9.875, Tonya Paulsson claimed bars with a career-high 9.975, beam featured 9.875s from Newman-Achee and Sarah Lee, and the Bears closed with a season-best 49.500 on floor. Newman-Achee also earned silver in the all-around. Cal finishes conference play 4-2 and will celebrate their seniors Sunday at the Cal Quad Meet.
UC Davis enters the meet with senior Amelia Moneymaker putting on a show, posting the fourth-best all-around score in program history with a 39.425. She won beam (9.875) and floor (9.900), while Avah Reichow added a 9.875 on floor and Jadyn Wakita returned from injury to score 9.850 on beam. Despite Moneymaker's heroics, the Aggies fell to Sacramento State but closed the night celebrating their senior standout style.
Penn State enters the meet after a dominant showing on the uneven bars to power past Nebraska and North Carolina, posting a team-high 196.875. Elizabeth Leary led the all-around with a season-best 39.250, Ava Piedrahita took vault and bars titles, including a career-high 9.950 on bars, and Dani Latronica earned beam gold, her seventh event win of the season. The Nittany Lions also posted season-best team scores on vault (49.225) and floor (49.275), rounding out a standout night across all events.
