
GymDawgs Record Season-High 196.575 to Take Second at Cal Quad

BERKELEY – Washington closed out the regular season with its highest team score of the year, finishing second at the Cal Quad on Sunday with a 196.575. No. 16 California took first with a 197.175, followed by No. 42 Penn in third with a 195.900 and No. 58 UC Davis in fourth with a 191.175.
The GymDawgs opened the meet on bars, scoring a 48.975. Lilly Tubbs led the rotation with a 9.850, followed by Deiah Moody's 9.825. Caitlin McWilliams and Kristin Lin each added 9.775s to round out the scoring lineup, with McWilliams matching her season-high.
Washington then moved to beam, posting a 49.525, their highest score on the event this season and the team's top score on any event this year. Olivia Oppegard led the rotation with a 9.950, earning the event title and setting a new career-high. Lin followed with a 9.925, also a career-best, tying for second overall. Chelsea Hallinan and Tubbs each recorded 9.900s, while Lana Navarro added a 9.850 to match her season-high.
On floor, Washington scored 49.225, their second-highest rotation score of the meet. McWilliams delivered a standout routine, earning a 9.900 to tie for second overall. Lin followed with a 9.875, while Mary McDonough and Hallinan each added 9.825s.
The Huskies closed the meet on vault with a 48.850. McDonough led the rotation with a 9.825, matching her season-high and tying for third overall. Kira Bolden followed with a 9.800, and Navarro added a 9.775, also matching her season-high.
Lin finished the night with a 39.325 in the all-around, setting a new career high and placing second overall.
