
Bower And Terry Homer As Huskies Drop Game One To SDSU

SEATTLE – Colton Bower and Braeden Terry combined for five hits but the Huskies ultimately fell to San Diego State 9-4 on Friday night at Husky Ballpark. Washington moves to 1-8 on the season.
Braeden Terry recorded his second straight game with three hits and was a bright spot for the Washington offense. He tallied a double, triple, and home run in the game and was just one single away from completing a cycle.
Colton Bower jump started the Washington offense in the fourth inning when he tagged a 390-foot home run to left field. He brought home Terry as well in the two-run bomb.
Noah Kenney made his second start for Washington tonight and recorded three strikeouts in his five innings of work. The right hander gave up nine hits and six runs on the evening.
He was replaced by Carson Boesel who pitched three scoreless frames with three hits and three punchouts. Tyler Walker finished the game, throwing the final inning.
Washington will look to bounce back on Saturday night as they host the Aztecs for game two at 5 p.m. at Husky Ballpark.
