Men’s Golf Heads To Southwestern Invitational

SEATTLE – Washington men's golf heads to Westlake Village, Calif. for the Southwestern Invitational, hosted by Pepperdine, Jan. 26-28.

Tee times at the North Ranch Country Club begin at 8:30 a.m. PT Monday and Tuesday with a shotgun start on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. PT. Teams will play 18 holes each day on the par 71 course registering 6,753 yards.

Joining the Huskies in the field are No. 19 Utah, San Diego State, SMU, No. 21 UCLA, San Diego, Loyola Marymount, No. 15 Pepperdine, No. 17 New Mexico, San Jose State, Colorado State, UNLV and No. 24 USC.

Washington will be paired with UCLA and San Diego State for round one starting on hole No. 1 at 10:20 a.m. PT.

Finn Koelle led the team with a 72.42 scoring average in the four fall tournaments. Jacob Goode followed closely behind with a 73.00 scoring average. Freshman Emil Herstad joined the Huskies in January.
