Washington vs Princeton
SEATTLE - The University of Washington Men's Tennis team hosts Ivy League side Princeton this Tuesday, January 20th at 5:00pm at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. The match will be live-streamed via Track Tennis and live stat coverage will be provided by Stat Broadcast. The Huskies have an all-time record of 3-2 vs the Tigers
Princeton, who have opened the 2026 season with a West Coast trip to the Pacific Northwest, opening with a win over Boise State 5-2, a rematch of the 7-0 Tiger's win from last season, and a trip to Seattle to play the Huskies on Tuesday night.
Coming off a 6-1 home opener victory last Saturday over the Belmont Bruins, the Huskies look to maintain momentum, opening the season 2-0, and carry the fight to these top-ranked Tigers.
While this is an unranked matchup, Princeton is coming to Seattle loaded with individually ranked talent in singles No. 11 Paul Inchausp and No. 99 Sebastian Sec. Not to be outdone, Pricenton's doubles pairings are equally formidable with No. 13 Landon Ardila/Paul Inchausp and No. 45 Meecah Bigun/Sebastian Sec leading the way.
However, these purple-and-gold-clad Huskies will look to prove they are a top-ranked side, responding with B1G Player to Watch and No. 89-ranked Soham Purohit and an experienced doubles pairing of Brett Pearson/Soham Purohit. Unranked Stephane Kamendje and Rohan Belday will also look to prove themselves with what will be signature early-season matchups.
These young Huskies will look for an early statement win before heading down to Austin, TX, for the ITA Kickoff Weekend event on Friday with a matchup with South Florida.
