SEATTLE - The Huskies will begin their efforts to prove themselves in the Big Ten conference this weekend with two road matches. These matches mark the start of conference play for the team.
They will take on No. 47 Michigan State on Friday and then No. 18 Michigan on Sunday.
After a stint of home matches to mark the start of their season, the Dawgs go into the weekend with an overall record of 9-2. They are coming off of a fourth place finish at the Diablos College Invitational in Tempe, Arizona last weekend.
Michigan State brings five ranked players into the weekend, No. 4 Ozan Baris, No. 21 Aristotelis Thanos, No. 63 Matthew Forbes and No. 78 Max Sheldon.
Michigan is represented by No. 61 Benjamin Kittay and No. 87 Gavin Young.
New rankings for Washington show Cesar Bouchelaghem at No. 68 and Dzianis Zharyn at No. 98.
