
Huskies Finish 12th At Juli Inkster Invitational

FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Washington women's golf team finished play today at the Meadow Club, placing 12th after three rounds.
The Washington women's golf team wrapped up play at the Juli Inkster Invitational, finishing 12th overall after three rounds at Meadow Club. The Huskies posted their best team score in the final round, carding a seven-over to bring their tournament total to +37.
Stanford (-29), Oregon (-21), and Southern California (-7) continued their lead finishing top three on the leaderboard for the tournament and remaining the only teams to score under par.
Individual Kennedy Knox led Washington with a steady performance, tying for 20th at four-over for the tournament. She opened with an even-par round before posting back-to-back two-over rounds to close out play.
Carmen Lim finished tied for 39th at seven-over. After a strong opening round of one-under, she battled through a five-over second round and a three-over final round.
Amber Li showed significant improvement throughout the tournament, bouncing back from a seven-over first round to shoot one-over in round two and even-par in the final round, finishing tied for 42nd at eight-over.
Wendy Tang tied for 54th at +11, closing with a two-over 74. Jenny Chang followed closely behind, tying for 60th at +13 after finishing with her best round of the tournament at two-over.
Athena Ni rounded out the Husky lineup, finishing 71st at +20.
