SEATTLE โ The Huskies narrowly lost to Maryland on Saturday, dropping a 1-2 game at Husky Ballpark.

Both starting pitchers brought their best stuff on Saturday night, as Jackson Thomas pitched 5.0 innings with only one run allowed, four hits, and three strikeouts. Maryland's starter Logan Hastings tossed 7.2 innings, allowing one run and three hits as well.

The Huskies lone run came in the fourth inning when Colton Bower used a sacrifice fly to bring home AJ Guerrero from third. The run tied the game at one apiece.
