
Beach Dawgs Bound For Mustang Roundup

SEATTLE — No. 17 Washington beach volleyball heads to San Luis Obispo this weekend for the Mustang Roundup, set for March 15-16.
The Beach Dawgs (7-6) open play Saturday, March 15, against UC Davis at 12:45 p.m. PT, followed by a matchup with San Jose State at 4:30 p.m. PT. Action continues Sunday, March 16, with contests against Santa Clara at 9 a.m. and No. 14 Grand Canyon at 3:15 p.m.
Washington is coming off a stellar showing at the Queen's Cup, where the Huskies went 4-1 to claim the tournament title, highlighted by a signature win over No. 15 Hawai'i. Sarah Wilcock and Emma Hohenauer were named the tournament's most outstanding pair for their standout performances.

UC Davis enters the weekend at 5-3 after going 2-2 at last week's Battle for the Bay. San Jose State (2-8) split its matches last weekend, while Santa Clara (5-7) went 1-3 in its most recent competition. No. 14 Grand Canyon (8-4) battled three top-10 teams at the Mid-Season MPSF Tournament, finishing 1-3.
