HUNTSVILLE, ALA. – Washington continued play at the AVCA Pairs Championship on Saturday, as both Husky pairs took the court in bracket competition.

Teila Allen and Emma Hohenauer went 2-0 on the day, earning sweeps over Stetson (21-17, 21-18) and Florida International (21-14, 21-19) to advance to Sunday, where they'll face California.

Zoe Pabarcus and Ella Tyus battled through two competitive matches, falling to Tampa (19-21, 21-18, 11-15) and Tulane (19-21, 21-17, 9-15). The pair will take on North Florida on Sunday.

Dennis/Michalska (Tulane) def. Tyus/Pabarcus (UW) – 21-19, 17-21, 15-9

Both pairs return to competition Sunday in Huntsville, with matches beginning at 6 a.m. PT. Allen and Hohenauer will face California's Dpnley/Sherman, while Tyus and Pabarcus meet North Florida's Espy/Murray. Live scores and results can be found here, and broadcast information is available here.
